COMY Monomer

COMY chemical recycling unit converts the presorted waste plastics into propylene, propane, butane, BTX and other building blocks. These building blocks will eventually be used to produce virgin-grade quality new plastics such as PE/PP/PA/PET,etc.

The pretreated waste plastics are converted into building blocks such as propylene, propane, butane, and BTX in the chemical recycling unit of COMY. High-purity polymer grade propylene can be used as raw material for PP or fine chemical industry; propane and butane can be used as raw material for steam cracking to produce ethylene and propylene; BTX can be used as raw material for benzene and PX produced by combined aromatics plant. These building blocks will eventually be used to produce virgin-grade quality new plastics such as PE/PP/PA/PET,etc.

Waste plastic-based resin (COMY PP)

Propylene produced from presorted waste plastics through COMY's chemical recycling unit can be polymerized into PP, achieving the closed loop of "waste to food-grade new plastics" . The products conform to ISCC and GRS and other traceability certifications.
